PhD in Economics and Business Administration (2017) and a Master's degree in Business Finance (2003) from the University of the Algarve (UAlg). Professor in financial management at the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism - UAlg since 1997. Author of several articles published in national and international financial management journals. Current research interests include capital structure, performance and DEA (data envelopment analysis) applied to the hotel industry, and entrepreneurship.
