His research interests regard lifestyle migration, downshifting practices and sustainable entrepreneurship in rural, remote and northern sparsely populated areas. Marco is involved in the Lifestyle Migration Hub, a network of migration scholars studying social reasons for voluntary mobility and migration across the globe.
